Her work is grounded, practical, and deeply empathetic, focused on supporting daily systems for sustainable transformation.
Joy Millea, 500 E-RYT, Founder of Joy Now Yoga
Joy is an embodied movement specialist who integrates Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization with yoga to restore skeletal balance, build functional strength, and create a resilient foundation for lifelong movement. Through guided dance, somatic awareness, and energetic practices, she helps individuals tune into their own bodies, release stagnant emotion and energy, and move with greater ease and vitality as they age.

Do I need to attend all sessions live?
Live participation is encouraged to get the full immersive experience, but it’s not required. If you’re unable to attend a session live, you’ll still be able to engage with the material through the retreat recordings.
Will sessions be recorded?
Yes. All workshop sessions will be recorded and made available to registered participants for a limited time after the retreat.
Is this retreat suitable if I already have a strong background in health and wellness?
Yes. This retreat is designed for depth and integration, not introductory information. Many participants have prior experience with health, yoga, or personal development and value the structure, reflection, and guided application offered throughout the weekend.
Is this a yoga retreat? Do I need prior yoga or meditation experience?
While gentle movement, breathwork, and meditation are part of the retreat, this is not a yoga-only retreat. All practices are accessible and adaptable, and no prior experience is required.
How interactive is the retreat? Will I be expected to share?
The retreat includes optional small-group discussions and guided reflection. Sharing is always by choice, and you’re encouraged to participate at a level that feels comfortable and supportive for you.

What if I’m feeling burned out or low on energy right now?
The retreat is designed to meet you where you are. Practices and sessions are paced to support restoration rather than push performance, making it appropriate even if your energy feels low.
How much time should I plan for over the weekend?
The retreat includes a Friday evening opening session and full-day sessions on Saturday and Sunday, with built-in breaks. A detailed schedule will be provided in advance so you can plan accordingly.

What is your refund or cancellation policy?
Due to the limited size of this retreat and ongoing access to the retreat materials, all registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you’re unable to attend a session live, you’ll have access to the retreat recordings so you can participate at your own pace.
Will there be an opportunity to continue working together after the retreat?
Yes. Participants will receive an optional invitation to continue their journey through additional coaching or programs. This is offered as a continuation and is never required.
